Our mission is to support and promote the educational, interpretive, and recreational goals of Wyalusing State Park by partnering with park management to enhance and protect the park’s natural resources.

Mission and Purpose

The Friends of Wyalusing State Park (FOW) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1997. All funds raised and all activities we undertake directly benefit Wyalusing State Park and its visitors.

What We Do

Ongoing projects and priorities include:

• Prairie restoration

• Invasive species control

• Trail maintenance

• Sponsoring educational programs and materials

• Developing additional bicycle and hiking trails

• Enhancing the visitor center meeting area

• Renovating and improving the Nature Center

These projects help conserve the park’s unique natural resources and improve the experience for all who visit.

Become a Friend

We invite you to become a Friend of Wyalusing State Park. As our membership grows, so does our ability to care for the park and shape its future. Member benefits include:

• Access to educational programs for Friends members

• Opportunities to volunteer and meet others with similar interests

• Annual social gatherings and member events
