Cross country ski trails at Wyalusing State Park

Cross country ski trails at Wyalusing State Park are in very good condition. All trails have been groomed and tracked.   Cathedral Tree Drive and Turkey Hollow Trails have been groomed and tracked for skate skiing.  Cross country ski trail maps are available at the park office.  If the office is not staffed, maps are located in the kiosk in front of the office.  Please, no pets or walking on groomed ski trails.
For snow shoe enthusiasts and hikers, Sand Cave and Sentinel Ridge Trails and the area near Point Lookout has been packed for snow shoeing and hiking.  Leashed pets are welcome on all trails but the cross country ski trails.
Temperatures will sky rocket to the mid-twenties on Saturday, January 4th before plunging into double digit below zero temperatures Saturday night through Tuesday.  Saturday will be excellent for out of doors activities, especially skiing, hiking and snow shoeing at Wyalusing State Park.  Get outside while the “getting” is good.
Park stickers are required.  If the office is not staffed, please self-register by the front door of the office.  Annual stickers will be mailed on the next working day.
For more information, please call the park office at 608-996-2261.
