Wyalusing and Nelson Dewey Welcomes Park Manager and Superintendent

The Friends of Wyalusing State Park welcome Chad Breuer. as the Park Supervisor for Wyalusing and Nelson Dewey State Parks. This position has been vacant since 2010.

Lisa Pitzer has accepted the Park Manager position for Wyalusing and Nelson Dewey State Parks since April, 2012. Prior to accepting the Park manager position, Pitzer worked as a park ranger at both Nelson Dewey and Wyalusing for six years. The position had been vacant since December of 2009.

Chad grew up on a dairy farm in Grant County. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a degree in Natural Resources, Bruer worked for the Grant County Sheriff’s Department for 15 years. While at the Sheriff’s Department he started the K-9 program and was promoted to Sergeant. Chad’s wife Rachele, is a special education teacher at River Ridge School. Chad and Rachele enjoy spending time at both Wyalusing and Nelson Dewey State Park with their three young children.

Lisa grew up on a farm in rural Grant County. After spending time in the military as a Medical Specialist, Lisa received degrees in Computer Programming and Conservation Management. Lisa spent several years working for the County Conservation in Iowa. In her free time Lisa enjoys farming, hunting, gardening and spending time with her husband and 3 children. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge of Wyalusing and Nelson.Dewey State Parks with park visitors.
