- Concession Stand closed for the season.
- Homestead showers:Closed
- Homestead water fountains:Closed
- Dumping Station: Closed- Campers may still use the dumping station to dump if they have water to flush.
Campers may fill their tanks using their own hose at the winterized faucet just east of the Wisconsin Ridge Shower/Flush Building (located in the center of Wisconsin Ridge Campground. (Note: A small parking lot is located just east of the closed shower building on Wisconsin Ridge that will provide temporary parking without snow. The hydrant is located on the north side of the road. A 50 foot hose is recommended.)
Showers and flush toilets are still open in the Wisconsin Ridge Campground. Campers using Homestead Campground are welcome to use the showers in the Wisconsin Ridge Campground.
Firewood and canoe/kayak rentals are available from the campground host on site 153 in the Wisconsin Ridge Campground. There are also a number of firewood vendors located within 1 mile of the park entrance.
The last Astronomy Program of the season will be this Saturday, October 22, at 8:30 p.m.
Fall Color Outlook: Most of the trees are bare, with mainly the oaks retaining their leaves.
Camping Outlook: Once again electricity will be in demand for this weekend. All sites in Homestead Campground, including the electric sites are open on a first come first serve basis. Wisconsin Ridge has 4 reservable electric sites open for reservations as of Monday morning.
Nelson Dewey State Park:
Reservation period has ended - all sites available on a first come first served basis.
Showers, dumping station and all water faucets are closed for the season.
Campers may still dump is they have water in their tanks to flush.
