A fascinating look into the amphibians and reptiles of Wyalusing Sate Park as well as southwestern Wisconsin was held on Saturday, September 12, 2009. The program, sponsored by the Friends of Wyalusing, was presented by Matt Heeter of the Coulee Herpetological Society. The Wisconsin Herpetological Society is a nonprofit organization of amateur and professional herpetologists dedicated to the conservation of reptiles and amphibians that was founded in 1973. (Link)

Adults and children enjoyed the well attended program. Live specimens of amphibians and reptiles were also on hand for the audience to enjoy. (More photos....)
